The Village of Kelliher invites applications for the position of Village Maintenance Person.
This Person will be responsible for the overall supervision, organization and delivery of various Village services within approved policies and budgets of Council as guided by relevant municipal bylaws and government legislation.
The position involves operation of the water treatment plant, sewage lift station, grader operation, light equipment operation and general public works duties. The applicant should demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised and communicate well with Council and the general public.
Applicable certification is required from the Operators Certification Board for Water Treatment and Distribution and Waste Water Collection and Treatment OR must be willing to work toward the applicable certification requirements. The successful applicant must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and grade 12 or GED equivalent.
